Elmo is one of the most loved creatures from the wonderful, long running children’s program Sesame Street. It is easy to see why when you see his small, red, furry, little body, his innocent, childlike personality and his adorable laugh. He can warm the heart of even the grumpiest of people!

The people at Fisher Price saw the selling potential in an Elmo toy and in 1996 they released the Tickle Me Elmo. This plush toy looked exactly like Elmo. He had great features, but the best part was the fact that he cracked up laughing and moved when you tickled him. His infectious laugh was enough for it to quickly become one of the best selling toys all over the world.

Since than there have been a number of different versions of Tickle Me Elmo. While each one has had great features, none come close in quality to the latest version of the Elmo Live.

Elmo Live has to be one of, if not the greatest toy ever made. He now has so many features and does so many things you can be excused for thinking he is actually alive. Lets take a look at some of his amazing features.

• Elmo Live has touch sensors in four places over his body. When these are activated (through tickling or squeezing) he will perform a variety of activities. These sensors can be found on his nose, back, stomach and left foot.
• Elmo Live tells two different stories, makes jokes (which he laughs/comments about), laughs when tickled, sings songs, dances and does a big sneeze when you squeeze his nose.
• While he is talking or singing, Elmo’s mouth moves along with the words.
• When Elmo tells stories his head moves back and forth, waves his arms about and even crosses and uncrosses his legs while sitting down (little seat provided)
• There is a tilt sensor in Elmo’s body. When he falls over he will ask you to help him up. If you help him up, he will thank you for it.
• Elmo has a battery saving sleep system. After play he will shut down automatically after a short period of inactivity.

These are only a few example of the many features and abilities of this amazing toy. Elmo live is sure to keep the family entertained for hours on end.

Elmo Live will without doubt be one of the best selling toys of all time. Like previous Elmo releases this Elmo is sure to sell out quickly in stores all over the world. It is best to get in and get yours as early as possible. The less than ethical act of buying in bulk to sell on e-bay at a hugely increased price is going on right now. This is such a shame because children of all backgrounds should have the chance to own this amazing toy.
